  The Connection FMX 210- Digital Media Caroline Nordheim The internet and the World Wide Web are something humans have access to everyday and normally don’t question where it comes from or if there is even a difference. In reality there is a surprising difference between these two platforms and came around during two different time periods. However although different these websites work together since the World Wide Web was able to come into reality from the internet being created  The Internet was created by Bob Kahn and Vint Cerf in the 1950s.      Hi my name is Caroline Nordheim,  I am a freshman at the University of Tampa currently taking a digital media class. Judging by the first class will be very interesting to take since it is a film class and I am a journalism major. However I knew this when I added it to my schedule so this did not surprise me. I am honestly very excited for the topics that will be covered in this class and to start using Adobe platforms and other software.       I love photography, so I used platforms such as photoshop in high school so learning new software is something I look forward too. I take a lot of action photography since I competitively swim but I love travel photography and I hope I can work in that field one day.  I Also enjoy writing, which is why I chose journalism because I felt like it was a great way to combine to things I enjoy to do and make it my job.     I have been swimming since I was really young and I also played waterpolo in high school.
